* A public memorial is scheduled for July 2, from 7 to 9 p.m. inside the Market's main arcade.
Donations may be made to the Jim Hinde Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 21804, Seattle, WA 98111.
The fund is to defray funeral costs, with remaining money to be given to veterans organizations.
