View Full Version : U.S. West
I am considering a tour of the western states. Starting from Cincinnati to Minneapolis to Montana then Washington, Oregon, Northern CA, Southern CA, Arizona, and New Mexico.
Now the question. How is busking in these states?? good areas? bad areas? Any input useful.
Thanks
Peter

o.k. here's the latest and greatest straight from Mama sutra on busking in seattle/ The market is private property.you do not have the rights of a public street there. They will call the POLICE.She used words like harrass restrictive and do not deserve us.The Westlake mall which is only 3 blocks from the market seems more appropriate for jugglers nowadays.Capital Hill is so weird you can busk and run if you have to.The Seattle Center home of the space needle is an option if you want to get a permit.I know you could get away with alki beach for awhile because its wide open and very long.Calif. volleyball has made it to ours shores for cryminny sakes.and absolutely no one is working that angle. It would be perfect.

o.k. not that there isn't gas works park to consider and many more areas that I think are unexplored, pioneer square is an option but they have a huge aggressive pan handling problem but your talking high power lunch crowds.

last 2 weeks have been in the high 80's/ it seems that you can start making plans for great weather right after the 4th of July every year but not before.Cram everything in through the middle of Sept and then break out the rubber boots and umbrella.
