busking in canada

hey everyone: i'd appreciate any info about busking in canada, especially in manitoba and points west. . .any ideas?

If you're passing through Manitoba, about the only place I know of where you can fire a circle show off is the Forks Market, but you do need a pass to perform there.

You can also perform at the winnipeg Fringe Festival, in old market square. But it's only in the spring.
