I was using my amp can in Australia at the Adelaide Fringe and I blew out the charger. Silly Me.
On the look out for a new charger - if anyone has an extra one lying around I could really use it. I called both Guitar Center and Sam Ash and they both said they couldn't get me one.
I went to an electronics shop and they seemed to think that I needed the exact charger that came with it for it to work.
I am on the look out!

I've replaced mine at Radio Shack - it has to be the right voltage/amperage, one of those, and the Radio Shack guys can help you with it.

Nope you don't need the exact charger.
I recently brought an amp can from the states and purchased a non preprietry one from JCar and it works great.
Some shops you can try in Australia that may stock what you need would be
Dicksmiths electronics
JCar
Or Tandy
If you take the old charger in they will easily be able to find you a replacement. It can also help if you take the amp as well because it has all of the details on the back.
Here are the specs on the back of the new transformer I brought:
AC Adaptor
Model:ksaff1500200w1au
Input: 100-240 ~ 50/60hz 0.8a
Output : 15V ---- 2.0A
It comes with a whole bunch of different tips so you can chose the right one, Just make sure you plug the tip in so that it has the correct polarity.
