Its called the Streets of South Point. I was there when the pitch was 6 weeks old. It was very receptive to Buskers.
The person (1 year ago) to contact is Anthony Caporale. His # is 919-490-8603.

I belive that he also had a post here on P-net some where. I have a 26k connection so I didnt go looking.

Hope this helps,
Tom B

Hey,

I live outside Durham and worked SouthPoint just about every weekend last Summer and Winter. I haven't been in a few months as I have been booked solid. It is OK, not great. It is a mall with shoppers and no tourists. Durham is not an affluent town and there doens't seem to be much disposable income. There is one descent pitch that allows fire and the space for a good sized show, and a second alright pitch for a smaller show. We have had some out-of-towners come by, but nobody stays long. This year the City of Raleigh is sponsoring a Busker Fest and I am hoping that it builds support for area street performers.

Come on down and try it out if your passing through but I wouldn't count on spending the summer here unless you got no place else to go.
