I'd like to introduce myself as Daniel.
Well, I'm a juggler, primarily, and a long form improvisor.. My performing experience is limited however, as I've only been immersed in the world of street performing for 2 years now.
I started performing when I was 14, which was in 1999. In 1999 I worked with a friend to create "The All Purpose Jugglers" who hit a couple of festivals and did a few street shows, as well as (surprisingly) a couple of not too shabby corporate gigs. That tapered off when the summer ended and I began to write material for a new show for 2000. It was a major flop- We did street and toured with the festivals in the summer and only got a mediocre response. Blah. After our disappointing summer run and infighting within the group, I dropped the group idea and performed my solo shows, which were actually conceived about an hour before I was scheduled to do one, this came as a bit of a larger success then the group effort, but I wanted to refine my ideas.
I took a sabbatical from performing (which I am still on) and am currently writing a ton of new stuff for 2001, which I plan on hitting again (The festival circuits, primarily.) So, my performing experience is limited. I'd say I've done maybe about 100 shows in my lifetime and most of them came last summer.
I look forward to performing for as long as I can- I love it, and I love the people.
