I have been working Daytona Beach during the Summer months for 6 years now, the pitch has been very good to me.

The Boardwalk Merchants Association has asked me to recruit performers for the upcoming Summer (2004).

If interested, please contact me at humanvolcano@hotmail.com

Some other really good dates are BIKEWEEK, SPRINGBREAK, DAYTONA 500, PEPSI 400.

well after tryin my hand a gain it seems the law lied. there is no permit for daytona beach and the law will treat you as an agressive panhandler. the beach walk is ruled by a buisness district and is in dissarray. the law routinely bounces musicians and of course me when i set up. threatened arrest and 90 days without my equipment(evidence). as i had no backup or money acquiesced and left penniless. will come back with more money and lawyer in the fall. aclu is workin with bikers for first amendment rights and am in consultation with them. i understand this is a relatively new attitude and several years ago it was much more receptive. tooo many new condos.

well my pretty good friend,
was informed of same after the fact. didn't get a number tho. thanks. there is some confusion tho. the pier is being replaced and the dissarray of the organization is on going. part of my difficulty was showing up in the middle of race week when everyone was on to other money matters. i'll beback in the fall to check it further.
you headed to cambridge any time soon. i'm back next week.
