The word on the street was that it is fine and buskeable , but Ive never been there so ask someone else .The FRench Basque , and better still Euskadi is a fine place to be , festival wise , you can begin a search at www.geocities.com/basquesite/euskadi/jaiak (http://www.geocities.com/basquesite/euskadi/jaiak)
Jaiak , meaning festival

Here is a link to the Festival. The French version explains their "Solidarity" stand better, but you can get the dates from the English version. If the link's no good, just enter aurillac, net in the search box.

Hey Martin...
Last time I was there was in 1999. A good festival and I could do some busking, even though I didn't really have my act together back then.
I plan to go there this summer, as well as as a couple of other French festivals around Europe. At the moment, I am collecting a list from festivals. A good starting point is this (http://www.straattheater.net/links.asp). Select festivals, and then for Land (country) you select Frankrijk for France, Spanje for Spain, Italië for Italy, etc.
Feel free to get in touch, it would be good to see you again and I can probably help you out here and there. My internet is a bit fucked lately, so I can be reached best at
