Help in San Jose, CA

Hi,
I am new to the forums. I work in the Santa Clara, San Jose (Bay Area). I am a face painter who is totally new to busking. I have no idea where to start or what is needed in my area. Can someone help me out?

Your best bet is to stay in SF on weekends and do walkaroud on Fishermans Wharf. They don't allow face-painters to set-up with a table nowadays, but I never had a problem with cops when walking around. Also - there are no cops after 4 pm anyway...You can also talk to Illana, the manager of the Ancorage Building about working in their courtyard, but it's kinda slow in there...Luv, Irina
