respectful honest replys to what?
You start a topic without content, it makes no sense.Did you tire of going through the site parroting the same line repeatedly.
I've decided to get in your face trev.I enjoy ridiculing you and it entertains others which is more than you do

I'm planning a Festival of Chairs in the year 2002 and am looking for chair related acts (must have own chair).

You cannot demand respect. You have to earn it.

Anticipation of something to come is sometimes better than actually having it right on your doorstep. I am putting together a prospectus that will be sent directly to the artist's but before I do this I am going to see how the guys on this site fair up.

It's might be interesting for you (ALL) to know that there is a lot of interest in what I am doing but its not for veiwing on performers.net. YOu have to realise that I cannot afford to place all my eggs in one basket.

Another question!

Who is sincerly interested in organising one of the biggest festivals for street performers?

Trevor
we have never met personally but i have seen your show i believe in Sydney either 96/97 or 97/98.
I am interested in festivals and performing at them I did e-mail you my web site adress as I find it easier and more cost effective for initial contacts with clients due to my remote location in the southern hemisphere.

I so far have received no replies to any of my emails. This leaves me in some confusion as I see plenty of posts on this board to do with the festival and potential european bookings.

I can only assume you are not interested in my shows. Not all potential clients are. I do feel that if what you write on these boards is not pure rhetoric, and you are seriously offering something, then your actions would benefit your cause if they were congruent with your words.
Sincerely Blake

Hi Nick

Where have you been? Firsty to let you know that I am going to go ahead with my plans!
But before I do I am putting together a plan, this plan will be posted for all to see when it's ready.

In so far as the Rotterdam festival is concerned I dont know what happening but I have heard from the Bomba Brothers that they have been asked to participate next year again.

This should tell you something!

But Nick dont worry about the festival I plan for 2002 there is plenty of time and I want to get it right.

I was just cruising past posts, and I'm wondering if anyone knows whether anything came of this festival of festivals thingy?
Is Trevor Rooney the guy who used to submit volunteers to some kind of electric shock when they sat on a chair?

I think that was Stanley Milgram.

But it may have been Trevor in the chair.

No, actually, it really was Trevor. It was part of his street hypnosis act.

But it must also be said, that this is a pretty standard feature of any stage hypno act as well. The chairs are made especially for this bit, regardless of who uses it.

They're not cheap, either!
