View Full Version : Getting off Scot Nery

The Portland juggling festival was this past weekend, hosting many jugglers and performers, including P.Net regular, Scot Nery. I wanted to congratulate Scot for doing a great job MC'ing the renegade show Friday night. I thought that he played the crowd in an appropriate fashion, edged by of someone slightly mental. I've got no way of knowing if it was an act or simply Scot's personality in real life, for I only spoke with him very briefly, and even then what was said seemed to focus on Pat McGuire's nipples. At this point, I think it best I never know...

Anyway, good job to Scot, and thanks for coming all the way from S.F. for the appearance. I hope that you were able to score a ride back to the bay.

Steve

P.S. If you didn't make it back, and you are still in Portland, give me a buzz and I can give you Pat's number...

Thanks for the credit Steven but I can't take it because that wasn't me. i knew it would happen eventually that imposters trying to ride on my name would pop up. For the record I'm from vancouver Canada and I've been Scot Free for ten years now.

You are right - it wasn't Free (nothing ever is), it was Nery. Scot Nery. My bad. I don't actually know any of the folk on the internet in person, so I only associate them with text based names. I did a quick search for scot and came up with one that I recognized and then got the last name wrong. Blame it on the drugs.

Steve

P.S. Just so there isn't any further confusion, I will edit my earlier post and refrain from trying to compliment anyone ever again. 'Probably better that way anyhow.

On these forums, Scot Nery is "Scot" and Scot Free is "Scot Free"

I get them confused sometimes, too. It's the "one-t Scott" thing that does it.

Thanks for the compliments, Steve. I, Scot Nery was amazed by his nipples (which I later guessed were only protruding jewelry). So, the magic of juggling is all gone for me. I'll have to just be crazy and settle for that.
