Who's planning on being in Melb. this summer?
We've been doing some full Body Art with physical performers and want to do some more exploring this season. Check out Sergei Drujina (ex Moscow Circus, now teaching at Melbourne's new National Academy of Circus Arts{NICA}) at http://www.chalkcircle.com.au/bodyart/bodyart16.htm and at http://www.chalkcircle.com.au/bodyart/bodyart14.htm for a couple of examples.
There may or may not be gigs involved (we have pulled some great corporate stuff lately) but we like to do it anyway. We work with a guy called David Simmonds, who's largely recognised as one of the country's best photographers, http://www.simmonds.com.au/ and mostly we do this with the photograph as the end result.
I'm hoping Robert Nelson will come so that we can do Butterflies all over his body. What a Photo?
