I'm looking for any information about pitches in Key West & cheap places to stay.

Brian I think one of the cheapest places to stay there would be Boyds Campground. Its not in Key West but its like 10 min from the pitch. Its hot. Like real Hot.

there's a youth hostel there.
I stayed in it for 3 months, try and get in a room with 3 others instead of the dorms.
This works out cheaper and you can watch the telly all night long.

Be careful of mad people who are running away from life.

Don't stay at the youth hostel for three months because people start looking at you thinking you're mad and you're there because you're running away from life.

I was thinking of heading down to FL for a few months. I've never been. How does mallory sq work?

I'm a one man band. Sometimes I stroll, play couple songs then move on, and sometimes I do a medium sized show 30 minutes or so.

I'm lookin for somewhere I can work real hard every day for at least 3 hours. I need the cash bad. Thanks.

One man bands work great here! Lottery is 2 hrs before sun set, I'll help you get the best spot you can. One works 30 minute shows 15 minute breaks ,not strictly enforced. Boyds is not the way to go, the youth hostel would work well or you can go to the homeless shelter for free. So come on down the weather is nice and the women and whiskey is abundant. I'm going to smoke a fatty and drink a beer. toodleloo

P.S. You can work 2 hrs before sunset till 2 hours after sunset ,so you get about 2 good hours and the money ain't bad. You can also work pier 60 ,Clearwater, it can be OK sometimes. Just ask Dallas He's a very good friend of mine and he'll you up in a good spot. Come on down...
