Cool Jim Cellini's "The Royal Touch"

Hello Everyone,

I had posted this a long time ago in the old board, but never got any replies. I am looking to buy a used copy of Jim Cellini's book on street magic, "The Royal Touch." If anyone has one, or could get me in contact with someone who does, and is interested in selling, just let me know.

My Email address is: Psychtutor@Hotmail.com

Have fun, it's a great book.

Thank you Thom, for your prompt response.

I looked all over Eason's site, but couldn't find Cellini's book there, although I did find Whit Haydn's on the subject, which I was also looking for. Therefore your info was of great help.

I E-mailed Doc to see if he has any copies left. I guess I'll have to wait and see if he does, and how much he asks for it. I was hoping to find a used copy, preferably in the US, so I wouldn't have to pay so much for it. At any rate, if I don't hear from anyone about this in some time I'll probably buy a new copy. Thanks again for everything.

Have you checked with Denny & Lee?

Great used book selection!

Good Luck!

Yep! Although Denny & Lee does have a very good selection, I have not been able to find the book there any of the times I have searched for it. Right before posting this I tried again, just in case, but to no avail.

Doc Eason Emailed back. He does have copies, but he sells them for about $20 more than Jim does. Then again, Jim charges about $20 shipping, so they both come more or less to the same price, which is still kinda high for me, so I'm left more or less where I began.

I guess I'll have to look around some more, and hope to find a used copy somewhere.

If you have any other ideas just keep'em coming! I appreciate your help.

Just in case, I have also tried looking on the sites from: PBDM, Magicauction.com, Bradbury Books, Tannen, Stevens Magic Emporium, Magic Inc. and a couple of other minor sites, but I haven't found the book on either the "New" or the "Used" areas of their sites.

Thanks again for any help!

O.K. long shot time:

Call (504) 586-9263 or write (doug@bigeasymagic.com) Doug Conn. He owns a Magic shop in New Orleans and is a friend and former student of Jim's.

If he can't help, no one can.

Again, good luck.

Hello Thom (and everyone else!)

Thank you for your help. I Emailed Mr. Conn a short while ago, but he hasn't responded. I'm hardly ever home during "working hours," so giving him a call has been difficult. Still, I'm going to have to try that.

Has anyone else any ideas? I'd appreciate any help!

You can call Doug 7 days a week, from 11 am 'til 7 PM. If he's not there his partner Mark Faulkner will take a message.

I just got a copy of this book at Hank Lee's in Boston.

It must be back in print?

Best,

Dan-
