Question Quality of www.gigslist.org

I received an unsolicited email from these folks ( http://www.gigslist.org ). It seems like a reasonable site, and claims to have 200-300 gigs posted/week. Most of these seem to be in the film industry with a lot of techie/admin jobs, but I did see a few variety type gigs in the sample area.
Is anyone a member of this service? If so has it led to any gigs for you? One gig would easily justify the membership fee ($25-$75/year).
Any information, educated opinions, estimations, conjection, reckonings, surmissions, or speculations are appreciated.
