I have an idea for some performing music...I am thinking I am going to need custom written music for a segment of my show...anyone know where I should look to find music artists who write custom material for performers?

Try the local university. Students are always looking for work, and could use the extra cash, they'd do a decent job too.
My videographers brother does it, so if we ever need it we'll go with him. You could also try calling up John Williams, I hear he's done some nice work ![]()

Hiya,
You could also try any of your local musicians associations...whether it be the musicians union or there are several organizations that have listings of composors, etc. If your in the States, try BMI or ASCAP...in Canada, SOCAN. If you need some help, let me know...I work in the music industry also! |
