Saw the Escort 2000 on Peavey.com site. Has anyone used one? Bought one? Any Comments? Kelly.

Question

Kelly, maybe with what you do it won't matter, but did you notice that the 2000 weighs 55 pounds?

Yeah, Chance, that worries me, but right now we run a Karaoke, weighing 50 pounds, and a second speaker and speaker stands are all extra. Plus the Peavey is on wheels, has dual voltage and seems very easy to hook up.
Also it seems to have a big output for outdoor shows.

But I would like to have other opinions on what works best all round. for size, output, and reliability, that we don't have to be engineers to hook up in a hurry. What about something that can be run AC/DC? Kelly.
