Lightbulb MotionFest West - San Francisco

Ok, Who here is going to MotionFest next week? I'm flying out to S.F. from Boston. I had such a blast in Baltimore I can't wait to do it all over again.

Are there any west-coasters thinking about going who haven't registered yet? Hmmmm???? There's definitely room for more people than are currently registered.

What else could you possibly be doing from January 3-6? Come to San Francisco. You'll have fun and you may just learn something.

Jim

I'll be there, Jim. Look forward to seeing you again. Although I wish I could stay an extra week for the Macworld conference.

Motionfest West...What a Blast!!!

Such a great event...thanks to everyone who helped organize it and run it...especially Michael Rosman and Robert Strong

It was great meeting so many performers and agents and seeing people again that I have known for a while... Taking classes with great performers and performance instructors was fantastic.

I hope that some of the friendships I made over the weekend continue for many years to come...thanks again everyone who was there.

Ahhh, Motionfest West! Indeed, what a blast!!!

The words "well done" come to mind!

Intense intensives and non-intensives alike. What a masterpiece of performance enhancement!

The classes I took (most all of them) tweaked my direction as a performer (collective sigh of relief here) but I guess I had to be the “Butterfly Man” at least once (more) in front of everybody. Motionfest is like that ... it takes the pain out of facing failure. So I decided to do something in one of the critique sessions that inadvertently might make others feel so much better about themselves.

So whether by design or choice, I took the stage in a parody of Julia's ("Jewels") metal-breast/crotch-grinder piece ... (her original piece, I had enjoyed earlier that evening while sitting near Daniel Stein.)

While I was onstage (in her outfit) I was forced to have my own crotch grinded at high speed (by friends and family) until I called out to Daniel, himself, and he came to save me. It was a great tag.

There is a longer explanation of this incident, in the back of my brain somewhere, where what I did makes perfect sense.

It was a moment I'll not easily forget. And I don’t think I’ll ever look at a sparkler in quite the same way again.

Hats off for that Robert!
I truly enjoyed the moment!
I really enjoyed hangin' out, your hairbit rocks! Though I'd like to se abit more of the rebellian moth.

Ánd if I see Captain i'll sure say hi, family you know...
and about the gold tooth I'll find out about that and tell you in beginning of Feb., when I am down your way.

For the rest of you, if you think you need improoving - go to the next motionfest, if you don't think you need improoving - then... definitely go to Motionfest.

I'm pretty sure I saw Mike Rosman with a video camera in his hands during Robert's Exotic Erotic Crotch Grinding Performance.

So there's bound to be a tape circulating at some point.

Jim

P.S. I had a great time at MotionFest West. Looking forward to M.F.East!
