Were in a little town called Bonnyville north of Edmonton Alberta doing the opening ceremonies for the Alberta Winter games. The town is like a winter wonderland people zooming by in Snow mobiles it's a kool experience different from our usual most times we follow the sun.
The venue is awesome it's a hockey arena with over 8 thousand in attendance for the opening ceremonies and were a featured act. Our group is following the singing of O Canada so we kick things off. Our accommodations are awesome with a hot breakfast served every morning flights and car rental all paid for and good pay for the gig. All in all this is a great gig don't know how often they do the Winter games here but I do know they do a great Canada day festival here every summer we did it this past summer and got treated the same way for that. I recommend checking out this little town for a possible gig and A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! |
