Lucky:

What's up with that?!

Deleting your posts is far more disappointing than they ever were offensive!

I haven't loved everything you've said, but I've appreciated that you SAY it! ("TRUTH"?!?)
What else is this forum for?
Sometimes you're like this generous spiritual cheerleader, and sometimes you're a prick.
So what? Great!

You're also a man who has struck me to act and stand by his convictions (I dunno, your tattoos come to mind)... 'til now?
From whom are you rescinding your words; your audience (us), or yourself?

Lucky,

It's really disappointing that you deleted all your posts. Because now the flow of several threads is completely screwed up. And people's replies following the gaps you've left don't make sense anymore.

It was obvious to me that you were doing it on purpose and I must say, you did it well. You got close to the line but didn't really ever cross it. (Except maybe for the people who already know you and expected it.) You sparked conversation and that is a good thing.

I'm just really bummed that you deleted everything.

I hope you continue to participate.

Jim

P.S. If you really wanted to push peoples' buttons, you weren't trying very hard. There was a master button pusher here about a year ago. If you want controversy, do a search for "Trevor" or "Queenie1" and read a few of those threads. Ha!

.

Here's another thought,

What is it about some entertainers, not to mention any names, ahem... but why do so many performers in our world continually get off by pushing buttons?

There have been several to pass through these forums and there's always one or two at every festival or party who will just say the most contradictory, hippocritical garbage, just to piss people off.

What pleasure can you possibly get out of making people dislike you off stage? And then get ON stage and attempt to win over a crowd? I've seen so many entertainers be complete dicks off stage... and their audiences never know what they're REALLY like.

It seems our profession attracts people who just crave attention; good or bad, we just want attention.

Any thoughts? I'd love to hear what Martin has to say.
