Default mipro

Anybody hear anything about this system?

http://www.mipro.com.tw/link/2_2_ma202.htm

it seems pretty good from the specs, and it is just that tiny bit more powerful than the crate limo and seems a bit more compact.

Thanks
-G

my friends got the little 101, quite impressive for its size, distorts a bit, i think the 202 would be the one i pick. its got kindof a cheap plasticy feel to it, but i guess that makes it more portable. if you get one please let me know how much you got it for.

I have feedback on the mipro 101c

http://www.mipro.com.tw/link/2_2_ma101c.htm

It is everything that link says it is, and exceds expectations.

I have absolutely no complaint. I first used a Phillips MP3 player with it. and it worked well. Recently I bought an ipod nano gen 2, along with a Monster iezclick for wireless control. Everything is working as it should. I mentioned the ipod and mp3 player to say that the sound is better quality coming from the ipod. It does distort at loud levels. But that's what happens when you turn up the volume too loud.

It would be nice if it can be a little louder. But for the size of the unit itself, its the best. In any case, they have other models that are louder.

I paid 120euro for it in Paris about 1 1/2 years ago. And it came with a 2 year warrenty.

If you need a system thats compact and lightweight, and is making great clear sound, this is it.

I hope you find this helpfull.

I do have the 101a as well, it was just what i needed !
Like Nick said... PERFECT

The 202 is THE NEW ONE, it wasn't on sale when i bought mine (few month ago). The 202 is the same as the 101 exept that its more powerful (50w instead of 30)... The 202 also had a SD cards input, so that you don't even need a ipod, everything in a SD card and you're done !

Sounds great !!

i just contacted the man in charge of selling mipro's in the states (for those it concerns), he said that the 202 will possibly be for sale in the US sometime in march.

Did you find any in Canada Kim? I've never seen one in real life. Are they good? Anyone have experience with the 202?

Didn't find a Canadian supplier... just an american one, but they only ship to US addresses... Here's the URL: http://www.musicfactorydirect.com/p-...pa-system.aspx

So, I think I'm looking for someone who's headed to NZ at some point, and prepared to be a courier for it...

Anybody fit that description? ;-)

Default Courier? Me?

Hi Kim, As you know I'll be loaded down with all my own extra stuff. If you wanted to pay the excess, I could potentially take an extra bag - but then, I'm not coming back to NZ until January.

Have you actually seen these in action? It's a different model to the ones people on this thread were talking about. It sounds pretty good to me though. Ah, it's a hard road finding the perfect amp.... t

Hi Kim,
In NZ, contact them: http://www.finda.co.nz/business/listing/nk95/hills-svl/
They should be able to get you what you want. They did got me a new Mipro mic when was there !

I've been using the Mipro MA 202 for a year now, and i love it... small, light, powerful, receiver include, SD/USB reader...
Personally, I also use their bodypack and mic... Everything works perfectly together.
Cheers

Laurent

@Laurent - mainly because it's twice the price of buying in the US...

@Martin - That may be a solution... I think I'm likely to find someone heading down to NZ from the US for the NZ summer / Chch etc... and sweet talk them into bringing it down...

There may be GST issues, but then, they go away at tax time anyhow, so depending on the shipping costs, it could be a fine fix. I'll let you know if I need to take you up on the offer... thanks.
