Default Sennheiser EW 100 g2 Frequency c

Hi Folks outside the U.S.

I have a Sennheiser ew100g2 system with both battery powered receiver and transmitter. (2AA size batteries in each)

it is the frequency that has been made illegal in the united states as the frequency band has been turned to emergency.
So I have upgraded my gear to be in compliance

I am not sure what the deal is outside of the states and what frequency band is legal.

if you are interested in this unit, it works great, it is a few years old and I have never had a problem with it.

Make me a reasonable offer and I will ship it out.

Greg, I'm interested, let me check and see what they're going for on eBay as I honestly don't know what a fair offer is. We need a unit for use in Europe in the summers!

Is it a headset or a handheld? Do you still have my email?

Hey Alison,

I should have mentioned, you will need to supply what ever type of mic you want to use. this is just the receiver unit and transmitter unit, no mic included.

you can get either a lav or headset either wired for/by sennheiser or use whatever mic you want that has an 1/8" input on it.

also you can use an 1/8" to 1/4" cable to plug into a board or crate system or other sound system depending on what you are using for sound.

well, this was on the frequency band that became illegal in the u.s. so it is sitting around, I thought someone outside the U.S. may be able to use it and Allison showed some interest.

I upgraded to the Sennheiser ew100g3 system which is a step up, there are some nice tweaks and added features as well as the half step frequency adjustments possible on it.

My upgraded unit cost me about 800$

still in the same family though and I think sennheiser is the best.

I was looking at the 112-p g3, which seems to be pretty much the same as the 100 g2, for about $600.

this is the one I have, which is almost the same as what you posted Stephon, but mine has a hand held microphone attachment transmitter as well that can be added to any omni mic.

this is good when I have a volunteer on stage or do a couple of my new routines I am working on.

What I'm finding is that the 500 and 600 Mhz bands are already being used in the two areas I perform most, and the part of the 700 Mhz band my units work on is still open. I guess I'll continue to use what I have until I have to find another option.

the unit I have now, it is totally battery operated stephon...email me seperately if you want more details, going to keep this about the unit I am selling now.

also, this unit I am selling in the 700 band WILL be a problem if you are working in the states, I worked a fair last year that told me I would not be able to use my system on theirs as it was not in compliance, even though it still technically was. The law will fully go into affect this month and I imagine that professional venues will be following the law as to not get a fine.

on your own as a street act, you may be able to get away with it. Here are the details regarding it if you did not know:

and to those wondering on the price, I am not sure, it is well used, but I am sure it has many more years to it...new these go for about 400$
but that is with the cable and mic so that knocks off 100$ for sure off a new one.

i would be happy to get $150 for it. Plus shipping to where you are.

I am also open to negotiation and possibly even barter.
