Post Liquor store bans busking (Regina)

A busker in Regina named Brian Johnson was on Global news today in Regina after being told by the manager of the north end liquor store that the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Commission head office had banned busking at all liquor stores. Global news checked it out for us, (Carla McEwen and her family all play in front of liquor stores) and it turns out that the head office says it's up to individual managers. In other words, the manager wanted to ban buskers but tried to pass the buck onto head office, so head office passed it back. To do this right before Christmas is far worse than to do it at any other time of the year.
At Carla McEwen's show on Saturday Dec. 20, at the Easy Alibi on Scarth St. Mall, we'll be asking people to sign a petition to allow Brian Johnson to return to the north end stroe. We feel that the liquor stores, being part of a Crown corporation, owned by the people of Saskatchewan, should be considered public property, along with the Casino, which Daniel Johnson was driven away from earlier in the year.
Anyone here from Regina who wants to help out?
