Arrow Video shoot show added for RENO!

This is the official world premier announcement...

There will be for the first time at a MotionFest West a video shoot show. Plans just finalized today. It will be on Wednesday night Feb 19th at 8pm at Circus Circus Nevada Room. For those who have not been to a MF video shoot show, they are great. Acts that wish to perform can do so in front of 3 digital video cameras in front of a incredibly loud supportive audience. After the show, we have a 'social' right there in the show room. It is the place to be on Wednesday night. The MC for the evening will be Geechy Guy. Tickets to his show in this room are usually $14.25 but for MotionFest attendees on Wed. this show is included in your MF registration. Let us know if you are interested in performing for video that night. Send a message to video@MotionFest.com if you are interested.

regards,
Michael

THe show is pretty structured. There will be 3 digital video cameras on tripods set up. THere will be an MC. MC will perform while the camera people change tapes after each act. Each act gets to walk away with the originals of their set. Each performer gets 20 or so minutes (depending on how many people sign up). The audience is made up of MotionFest attendees as well as some people from the general public. The stage will be raised, there will be lights and sound system. At least one of the cameras (and hopefully more) will be a 3 chip professional type Sony. In the past, people have been pleased with the quality of the tapes. We charge a little bit for this, but putting something together like this is a ton of work and we do it all, including the hardest part, which is providing a loud friendly audience. The people know the show is being taped for the performers so they don't mind when the MC asks if the camera people are ready for the next act. Other than a short delay here and there, it is a real show, not like a David Copperfield video shoot in front of Live audience. I hear that barely resembles a 'show'
Hope this clarifies.
