Default Reasons for 'pitch gone bad'

In the last three years, there has been a decrease in the number of performers coming to Vancouver, Canada. This happens to a lot of pitches.

What is the number one reason for a pitch losing performers?

USA Problem?

I'm confused; less competition is a problem?

oh yeah, I would guess the #1 reason for not working a pitch would be: it's not worth it?

The number one reason for ' ... not being worth it' might be
that too many acts are ... weak ... similar to other acts ...
