Default Sweet Sue and Her Sweethearts!

Hello Everyone,
I want to take this opportunity to introduce our swing orchestra to you:

Sweet Sue and Her Sweethearts are the sweethearts of New York City swing/big band scene and are now available for bookings!

Formed in 1994 by the lovely Susan Scherman, the 18 piece (or less depending on the venue) orchestra is one of the only big band outfits headed by a woman. The orchestra has performed all around the New York Metropolitan area including for the Grand Central Partnership, The Port Authority of NY/NJ, The Park Performance Arts Center, The Warwick Hotel, The Old Mill, and of course the world famous Rainbow Room.

Sweet Sue's musicians are the toast of the entertainment world having performed with the very top Broadway and recording artists. The orchestra's "girl singer" is the luminous and beautiful cabaret/recording artist Barbara Rosene. Her sweet/sultry style has made her one of the premiere interpreters of 1920's/30's pop and jazz standards today. Sue's "boy singer" is Croon Prince David Giardina who has been performing on stage, screen, television and radio since he was child. David is also an award-winning filmmaker. His dapper style is strongly reminiscent of Al Bowlly and Rudy Vallee.

Sweet Sue and Her Sweethearts specializes in the great American popular songbook of the 1920's-40's as well as international favorites. The orchestra is available for any kind of event, celebration or function. Whether it's a birthday party, anniversary, bar mitzvah, corporate event, New Years Eve Party, country fair, car show- Sweet Sue and Her Sweethearts will get the crowd clapping and dancing. Our next gig will be at the outdoor Waterfront Festival in Weekhawken, NJ on Saturday, Sept. 24. It's free!

If you love the sound of great American classic big band music served up with class and sass- then you'll love Sweet Sue and Her Sweethearts. Call now to request a press kit and cd or to book an event: (20l) 863-3210. You can also email the orchestra: pre_code@yahoo.com.
