http://www.mcdonalds.fr/

The website alone should be more than enough material.

The Mc beer and the mayonaise on the fries were the things that struck me as odd the first time I went.

That was like... many years ago now. Ok I haven't been in a Mc Donalds in France for over a decade now. Hmm sorta proud of that fact now.

Stickman (Anti McDonalds?)

P.s. only resturant that ever gave me food poisening two years in a row on my birthday.

You guys need to watch Pulp Fiction many more times!
He talks about buying pot in Amsterdam, and about how they use mayonaise instead of ketchup on fries; "They drown 'em that shit"

Then they start talking about France and the Royal with Cheese.

I'm not sure where it is that you can buy a glass of beer in a movie theatre, I think Holland.

Edit: and I agree with em, McDonalds are shitehawk bastards and don't serve anything resembling what I would call food.

We don't call a big mack a royal qith cheese, most people know it as as a big mack. Personally, I just refer to it as 'a groce piece of shit'.

While I dont know about the reality, the movie qoute we are refering to concerns the "quarter pounder with cheese" being the "royal with cheese" not the Big Mac.
It does however go on to inform us that the "Big Mac is a Big Mac".
But as for your culinary review of the Big Mac quality, I must agree.
But I also have to confess that a few times a year I sneak off and eat one in secret. Yet another burden of being American.

"SICK, bastard" is right.
I eat them and 45 minutes later I am pooping my guts out.
I remember when my daughter (who now hates McDonald's the way that only a 13 year old girl can) was little and had her first bit of a Big Mac, she got this big smile on her face and said 'Yum" with all the enthusiasm in the world. And I thought of course she likes it, some scientist in Ronald's lap has engineered it to taste perfect. Its just salty enough, just sweet enough and of course just greasy enough. The "perfect" food.
In all honesty I very rarely eat fast food. I think it is ridiculous that people in America eat out anywhere as much as they do, let alone at fast food places.
Spending an hour in the kitchen fixing a meal for the people that you love (even if that's only yourself) is time truly well spent.

Damn, I am quick to jump up on a soap box lately. I guess I need an audience. Good thing I start working again this weekend.
